Adlou farm is set amongst rolling hills and picturesque countryside in the Waerenga Valley. We are located 30mins from both Hamilton and Auckland. The farm has been recently purchased and will be undergoing a lot of changes over the next 18 months with new facilities for the horses being developed.

We have been predominantly been breeding Welsh Ponies for their versatility as a children’s pony and for all disciplines. We are proud to stand two outstanding Stallions, The Section A Welsh pony Brecon Bach Peacock and the partbred Welsh/Riding pony Greenlee Samson. Both these Stallions have an impeccable temperament and outstanding movement.

We have also expanded into breeding sporthorses. We are building a breeding programme using only the best Holsteiner Stallions. We have two colts on the ground this year by the outstanding sire Littorio who was Champion Supreme Stallion at the Holsteiner approvals in Germany 1995. We are really pleased with the high quality of these colts.

We are breeding to quality bred New Zealand Thoroughbreds and also to Warmblood and Holsteiner mares. All the mares have been chosen for their movement, temperament, conformation and bloodlines. These horses will be capable of competing in any discipline and show a great deal of athleticism.
